Mr. Md. Jahangir Alam Khan, Chairman, United Commercial Bank Ltd. urged Branch Managers to continue determined effort to further accelerating growth and development of the Bank along with maintaining quality of asset and strict compliance with regulatory requirements. He was speaking as Chief Guest at the Dhaka Division Managers Conference held at Local Hotel, Dhaka on 14.07.2008.

Mr. M. A. Sabur, Chairman, Audit Committee of the Bank also attended the conference as Special Guest and called upon Branch Incumbents, Executives and officials to carry out sincere professional efforts to increase profit with pragmatic planning, productive utilization of manpower and information technology to ensure quality banking service to customers.

Mr. M. Shahjahan Bhuiyan, Managing Director of the Bank outlining the performance in various core sectors called for coordinated effort at all level to expand business by way of marketing our products and services of the bank and expanding profitable lending to further strengthening Bank’s position in the mainstream of banking.

While extending vote of thanks Mr. M. Shah Alam Sarwar, Additional Managing Director mentioned about the dedication and devotion of the loyal employees of the Bank as well as the dynamic role played by the Board of Directors to place this bank in this solid position over the past 25 years having a courageous journey.

Mr. M. S. Kamaluddin, Deputy Managing Director and Divisional Heads at Head Office also attended the conference.
