United Commercial Bank Limited has opened its 84th branch at Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Hajee Yunus Ahmed, Chairman of UCB inaugurated operation of the new branch in an auspicious opening ceremony arranged on December 27, 2006 at the Branch Premises. Mr. Hamidul Huq, Managing Director of the Bank delivered address of welcome on the occasion. Mr. Md. Jahangir Alam Khan, E. C. Chairman, Mr. M. A. Sabur, Hajee M. A. Kalam, Mr. Kazi Enamul Hoque, Mr. Sharif Zahir, Mrs. Kamrun Nahar, Directors also spoke on the occasion. Mr. Niaz Habib & Mr. A. K. M. Kamal Uddin, Deputy Managing Directors and Company Secretary, Mr. M. M. Rafiqur Rahman were also present. A doa for the new branch was arranged inside the branch premises after the inauguration.
